Wooden X~mas Words

Wooden X~mas words joy

Seriously, those metallic markers of mine just don’t give up! What is going on! Β I just can’t stop using them for more and more stuff! Like these cute Wooden X~mas Words ! I’m amazed. I’ve said it before, I’m working on a round up, cause this is C.R.A.Z.Y! How much more use can I possibly get out of them! I will have to have a moment of silence once one of them finally dries out!Β

When we visited family in Canada last summer, I got a pack of wooden letters at the Dollar Store. I say this all the time and I say it again: Why do I always just buy one item of the stuff I end up loving. I thought: ok I’ll take them, lets see what happens. Now I want like three more packs !

I really like decorating with words around the house. You can put them on a canvas, on a shelf in front of books, on a wreath… I will show you where I put them soon!Β

But first I’m gonna show you what I did with them. Well. I used my markers as you can see ;). But first I looked for X~mas words. Short ones. Then I painted the letters and after that I doodled on them. My favourite thing lately!

What I used for the Wooden X~mas Words:

~ Wooden Letters

~ Acrylic Paint

~ Metallic Markers

Wooden X~mas words

Wooden X~mas words Xmas

Wooden X~mas words Elf

Wooden X~mas words done

What do you thinK???

Hello my creative friend, love your words…especially the red ‘ELF’. The gold on the red background…so rich looking. Are your markers Sharpies? I have a serious love affair with Sharpies….my family often gets me sets of them for Christmas.
Stay creative…can’t wait to see what you come up with next.

Good Morning Lynn! You won’t believe it, but my markers are dollar store ordinary ones, no sharpies… It was a pack of two for like a Euro. I’m in love with these guys as well! Thanks for stopping by!! Happy Sunday to you and your fam!!!

Katrin, you home is so fun, for you and the kids. I love what you’ve done with the letters, it’s so cool to have reminders around you during the holidays, isn’t it.

And those markers? They have been worth their weight in gold and silver, lol, pun intended. I hope they keep on going, you are so creative with them. I will mourn their demise too! LOL
