Remember the bathroom stool I showed you the other day?? I bought it in a set of 4 for a total of €15 on the local craigslist here where I live. Pretty good deal I thought, especially since they were all in great shape.
They needed some cleaning and a change of color, not much more.
I painted two in a graphite grey, one of them is in my guest bathroom and the other one currently outside, holding a plant.
Then I still had two more to paint and wanted to use them in the dining room. Which meant they were going to be painted white.
Wooden Thrifted Stools Makeover
This is how they looked when I picked them up from their previous owner.
I gave them a good cleaning and a few coats of white chalk paint, plus waxing and sanding.
The twine seats really caught my eye when I saw them online. They look so pretty and were all in great shape too.
I love how they look at the dining table with my other mix & match chairs. Adding a touch of rustic to the mix and painting them in white was a good choice.
The faux fireplace mantel you see in the back is a first time built for me btw. I built it the other day, and am still tweaking the decor a bit, so I will share as soon as it’s decorated!
Let me know what you think?? Which color do you like better on them, grey or white??
Thanks for stopping by, have a great Wednesday!!
