The best way to style your walls in a rental!

Y’all know that we are currently living in a rental home. And we are very happy with it, because thankfully, it has neutral features all around the house. No crazy colour schemes going on anywhere, which I prefer, as I love neutrals and whites. I am keeping it all pretty simple, but I do have a few walls in the house that really need some stylin! So…today I’m showing you the best way to style your walls in a rental!

Not too long ago, I saw the gorgeous wallpaper that Kristi from Making it in the Mountains used for her beautiful walk-in closet and knew, I needed something like this asap!

I went ahead and checked out Walls Need Love and knew immediately that I’d be able to find the solution to my white walls here! They have a beautiful collection of peel & stick wallpaper and lots more,  to really give your walls some lovin! It’s the best way to style your walls in a rental!

~ Because I don’t have to paint my walls now AND all over again to the way they were before, once I move out!

~ It’s super easy, done in a short time, not smelly and doesn’t leave any damage behind!

~ If I move to a different home, I simply take my wall paper with me and re-use it!

So easy!  So convenient!  So for me!

It was tough, because I love everything they have on their site, but I decided on these wall decals for the wall going up our stairs. That wall has been decorated a few times because it is usually covered in little finger prints. I’ve tried a few things with it, but most decals or washi tape I’ve used, peeled off after a short period of time.

Well, not this time! These wall decals are sticking and sticking and just look beautiful!

I ordered two packs for my stairwall and it was the perfect amount, they came on small sheets, easy to handle and to peel off!

I made sure my wall was dust-free and dry and started sticking on my Perfectly Imperfect Dots Wall Decals and it took me really not much more than 15 minutes! The perfect way to style a wall in my book!

I had to peel off and stick on a few of the dots a couple of times because I didn’t like the position and it was so easy and they did not rip once! I’ve tried out several wall decals before and this quality is just the BEST!

Katrin, this is great for a rental, but it’s also good for those of us that own a home. It’s the coolest thing ever. I love that it fits your decor, it’s fun and eye catching too. You could move them from room to room when you want a change, how exciting to be able to change your walls up whenever you want! What a great product and a great company!

Checked out the site and there are so many that I want! The mustaches! Love. I’m bet you had a hard time choosing, I see arrows and feathers galore. I also love the birch trees. I’m thinking about making some backgrounds for pictures and these would be so fun!

What a fun and practical way to dress up the walls! This is perfect for rentals, but I think it’s a great idea for anyone. It would be easy to just change them out for a new look without the trouble of painting. Thanks for sharing at Snickerdoodle Sunday, Katrin. Pinning.

So classy and so beautiful. Love your perfectly imperfect spotted wall Katrin and it’s ideal for a rental. Your landlord might just decide to keep them.

All walls need love- rental and owned too! This is a super idea for those of us who don’t like rollers and brushes and buckets of paint. That they can be easily removed and reused elsewhere is a huge bonus. Thank-you for the introduction to “Walls Need Love”. Love them on your staircase wall! Wonderful post, as always.

I’m a sucker for anything with polka dots so this caught my eye right away! I love decals. I did something similar in my kids playroom and it adds an easy fun pop of color without having to paint anything! Visiting from Homemade and Handcrafted.

Katrin, the staircase wall looks awesome!! Love the gold dots you chose to use! You’re right, they go great with the rest of your decor!! I’m amazed at how you will be able to take the decals off and restick them again, fantastic!! I’ll have to check out Walls Need Love. I wonder how the decals would work on furniture.

Katrin these wall stencils are so you. I remember last year when you had done something to the wall with washi tape. This is even nicer because it’ll stay on. I think the pattern you have chosen is very modern and fresh. It is an easy makeover with lots of wow factor.

    • Katrin
      03/08/2016 at 13:20

Thank you so much Mary! Yes, the washi tape wall was fun, but it came off and each day I’d find some on the floor, it drove me nuts, lol! So I pulled them all off really quickly. Then I had my grandma’s place mats but I would still see all those finger prints below them. I think I’m finally done with this wall now that I found these great decals! Love them!
