The Best mix & match side tables

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing The Best mix & match side tables !

The best mix & match side tables/kreativk.net

I’d really like to change my current side tables. I have two Ikea white metal side tables on each side of my sofa and they look lovely, but I’d love to eventually get some new ones. I also really like to mix things up and put two different ones on each side. It’s always fun to decorate them with lights, plants and such and they have a great impact on the overall look of a room. I have one in my entrance for small stuff like keys, coins etc. and four in in my living/dining room. I’ve changed them around and re~decorated them a million times I think. I could do it all over again too! You get it right! There are lots of styles I like, Scandi style is my favourite, with a mix of Farmhouse, rustic in there. The great thing is to mix it up and make it yours.

Here is a variety of different side tables I love. Mostly simple, some a little more different than others and the amazing thing is they are all from Target and Amazon! I mean, really? I think they look amazing and would really lighten up any room!

Katrin, I love all of these, it was hard to choose, but the 6th one is my favorite. It looks like a hunk of wood, but the reclaimed colors mixed together is so cool! I love it. Our home is more modern, but I love rustic touches here and there, this would fit in perfectly. I’m in love with this piece!

It is so hard to choose, I love #6 as well! It looks unique! I wish I could have them all…in fact, it’s pretty hard to get them shipped over here, I’m trying to figure something out…

Oooh I love your selection! The chest like one is my fave as we have quite a lot of natural accents in our home it would go with. I love random pieces of furniture that just fit – just because they’re cool! x

Which ones will you be picking for your living room? What height do you typically require your side tables to be at?

    • Katrin
      31/03/2016 at 10:00

Hi Candace! I’m thinking of the white shutter door one, as the storage inside is nice as well! And then, I’m still debating on number one with my husband… he doesn’t like changes as much as I do, lol! I’d love something around the 30inch height…like 60-70cm…I’m trying to get similar ones over here as well, as for me the shipping to Europe is difficult sometimes… but it’s fun to look around for sure! Thanks for stopping by!

The 11th one (white) really caught my eye. I have a couple of rooms that could use something like this. We always enjoy the multiple links you share at Celebrate Your Story and hope to see you at our party again next week!

We are a dresser family, so the last gray one would look wonderful in my home – except done in a natural stain. My father-in-law makes incredible furniture but I’ve never asked for a side table. Something to consider! Great round-up.

      30/03/2016 at 10:24

That is a beautiful little dresser! I can imagine it even prettier in a natural stain Kathryn! You are so lucky to have your father in law! That is amazing! My father was pretty good at making these kinda furniture and I’m sure if he was still here I could ask him to make me one of these! Thanks for visiting!

These are all great, but I am drawn to the round ones with wood slats. This really makes me want a new side table. Thanks for sharing Katrin!

Hi Sherry! I love those round ones as well! I really want new ones too, I can’t wait to get them, but I don’t know which ones, too hard to decide! Happy Easter Weekend to you!

I’m absolutely loving the two barrel side tables. I desperately need to bring some new stuff into my room and switch stuff around. But we’re planning on selling our home soon and will be seriously downsizing, so I’m hesitant to buy anything new. But I can surely start planning for our new home and your collection has many to inspire me.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
    Hugs and Happy EAster

Oh I love them all, it’s so hard to decide which one to get! Yes, I get that when you want to sell and move the last thing you want is to buy new stuff before the move, if any, after you’ll see what you might need better. So exciting though for you, a new home! I love setting all up again but it’s also tons of work! Thanks for stopping by and checking this out Lynn! Have a lovely Easter weekend friend!

btw: the last WD was a bummer for me, didn’t enjoy it at all, hope the next one will be better!

A very nice selection Katrin! The one with the black metal bottom is the one I like the best. I think I’m partial to black. lol. And the other one that looks like a box is also very interesting. In all I would say this is a nice variety. Which one are you thinking of getting?.

Oh, I want them all Mary! Too hard to decide! I like the mix & match, so maybe something rustic and something round…oh I just don’t know yet! Thanks for checking this out! Happy Friday 🙂
