Terrarium spring decor using ranunculus

This week is definitely a ranunculus week here at home and on the blog! I told you on Monday how much I am in love with the artificial ranunculus I got at Ikea the other day and showed you my vignette all decorated for spring with them… Well, I got more than one, so today I’m showing you my terrarium spring decor using ranunculus.

You know when you buy something and you realize how much you like it and can’t have enough of it?? It usually happens to me with clothes I buy, that I end up loving something so much I wear it days in a row and end up getting it in more colours. Same with these ranunculus! I bought a few of the little bouquets in white and pink and the house got a little bit of freshness everywhere! just a little…

I made this terrarium  last year from Ikea frames and I love changing it up with decor each season or holiday. So now I’ve added some ranunculus and simple wood slices and sticks in a jar to it and it is ready for spring!

This post is gorgeous Katrin. I simply cannot wait for spring. I am going to put my winter decor away in the next couple of weeks. Thankfully we have an Ikea in Edmonton, this lady is going to go look for some blossoms. Very pretty.

Katrin, this looks so fresh and pretty. I am ready for spring and this pushes us just a bit closer. Ranunculus is such a pretty flower, it looks like a cabbage rose and a peony, my favorites. But the coolest thing is the leaves, the shape is so pretty and different. Not sure which arrangement I like best, I love them both.

Oh definitely, yes I’m so ready as well. It’s my favourite time here in Spain, because it’s warm enough to be barefoot and summerly but not hot at all, really enjoyable and with some cooler days in between, I like that a lot… And when I saw these pretties it felt like that, so I couldn’t pass…

Katrin you are really inspiring me with all your spring decor. The colors of the ranunculus is so pretty. Would you believe I am still taking the Christmas decor down?

These ranunculus are so beautiful and look so real! Your terrarium is a perfect place to display some of the ranunculus. I always love seeing the terrarium after another decor change, a wonderful versatile piece from your kreative mind! The mason jars are also pretty with the flowers and branches. It certainly has a Spring look, is it Spring in Spain or wishful thinking? New England is bracing for Winter Storm Niko tomorrow and a lot of snow. Thank-you for a lovely post, as always!

Hello my friend! They do look real, that’s what I love about them! If I had more room, I’d make another terrarium for sure, I really enjoy it! Spring is almost here… we had 19 degrees C the other day and it was lovely! This weekend we’re expecting a cold front again, but for us that means temps going down to maybe 13 degrees C during the day as a high, which is cold for us… at night it gets a little colder, but the sun sure does help during the day. Stay warm and safe Ellen and Thank you so much for your kind visit!

Oh I’m so happy for you Katrin, Spring is around the corner in the North. We can already see some of the leaves in our garden changing color and getting ready to put their Autumn clothes on here in SA. As always your style and elegance is beautiful.
