Spring Table Tour : Simple Nordic Farmhouse Spring Table

Hello friends. I hope you are having a nice Easter week so far. We are enjoying a week off here in Spain, it’s wonderful! And being part of a Spring Table Tour hosted by Tammy from Pink Peppermint Design made it even better. Throughout the whole week you can get a lot of inspiration from awesome bloggers, have fun checking them all out. Below you will see the list and if you’re stopping by from Noni’s House, welcome!

In case you’re new here today, let me tell you that I am a minimal style kinda person and my home is pretty simple. Nothing fancy but everything cozy and homey. I love decorating in a simple way, so my Spring table is just that, a simple Nordic farmhouse Spring table.

Dish towels layered as table runner

I started by layering these dish towels on a simple white table linen. I just placed them all over the center, like a table runner.

Vintage napkins

These napkins are real vintage napkins, my Grandma [Oma] made them long long time ago. I use them for special occasions, so today they are a real feature on my Spring table. I simply folded them and then opened up one layer to stick in some faux grass.

Simple Centerpieces

To me, Spring means all things green and bloom-y so I brought in my succulents and also planted some of them in cute mugs.

The center of it all is a green nest, or wreath, that I made just using all kinds of different artificial greens I had around the house. And in the middle of it is a cute little sheep figurine, that got a coat of spray paint before.

Katrin, what a beautiful tablescape! I really like those sprigs of grass in the napkins. That’s so special that you have your Oma’s napkins as part of the table dressing. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter!

Oh my gosh, Katrin I have those exact napkins. I got them at a thrift store a few years back. I love the simplicity of your table and it would be a join to sit at.

    Katrin,
I love this post. Each thing you showed was simple, but shows a lot of creativity. It’s the best of all worlds because I can take these ideas and really be inspired to try them myself, which I just love. Thank you for sharing and for linking for our Friday Friends Parade. We hope you join each week. Blessings, Julie & Jodie

Katrin I have been in such a flunk about Spring. It just doesn’t feel like spring around here. Thank you for that much needed greenery to put a smile on my face and a twinkle in my eye for what’s to come.

A very lovely Spring table in your simple Nordic farmhouse style. Another kreative way to utilize tea towels. I don’t know how you think of these things! Love those succulents in the mugs. The centerpiece is adorable and thrifty. Thank-you for some very beautiful ideas for styling my table!

Katrin your table is so fresh and pretty! I gravitate towards a simple and clean look took (excluding my spring table! We’ve had a long grey winter so I brought out some color this time around.) Love how you layered the cloth napkins, and your Oma’s pretty lace napkins too, what a treasure to have those!

Your spring table looks beautiful, Katrin. The seagrass placemats go very well together with the pretty napkins from your grandma and the lovely wreath.
    Enjoy your week off!
