So I couldn’t help but putting up some Christmas decor last weekend. It’s not much, but I do want to share it here on the blog. This year I will be repurposing and reusing Christmas decor. I still like what I have from last year, it will reappear all, or most of it, just probably in a different way or spot. Which is even more fun, isn’t it! I do after all love the minimalism way of life ! So repurposing and using what I have is my go-to these days. I did buy little things, veeery little things like new fairy lights, because the ones from last year no longer worked. But back to my simple wood slice holiday candle centerpiece. Cause that’s what I want to show you today!

Simple Wood Slice Holiday Candle Centerpiece
You’ve probably noticed I’ve got a thing for wood slices these days and so I’ve decided that they would make a reappearance this Christmas season. As the base for this centerpiece.
1.What I’ve used:
large wood slice
2. Using a pencil, trace around the candle to mark where you want the holes.
3. See that you have the 4 holes spread out evenly over the wood slice. Just erase if you want to change the spots.
4. Drill into holes.
5. Carve out holes using a carving tool.
6. Screw in candles until they stand firm.
Now the fun part! Decorating!
Just add pine clippings around the candles to make it look like a wreath. No need to attach anything. And at last top it all with fairy lights!
Sharing is caring, pin this for later please!
Remember to never leave those or any candles unattended!! Did you start your Christmas decorating yet??
