Simple Rustic Wintry Cabinet Top

Happy New Year, I hope you have had a great start into 2018! My plan was to not blog until like next week, but here I am. I am taking down our Christmas decor and it makes me sad, but I am anxious and happy to be able to change things up again. Does that make sense? Not so much, but hey, this is what happened: a simple rustic wintry cabinet top! Cause I really enjoy decorating this cabinet top and I like to keep it simple.

Simple Rustic Wintry Cabinet Top

What I’ve used:

bottle brush trees

pine cones

ceramic antlers

string lights

large wood slice

I had everything at home and had used it all for my Christmas decor as well, just differently. Now it doesn’t scream Christmas anymore but still has a cozy winter vibe.

You can see how I last used the string lights for Fall on the same cabinet top here.

Now it looks like this for Winter:

One just has to be dazzled by your ability to take the same things and transform them into something different…I LOVE it! I love, love, love that string of lights anywhere you use it. The wood slice always looks perfect, where ever it pops up too. Your wintry decor is so warm and homey. Thank-you for more kreative ideas.

Aw Thank you, I just can’t store those lights, they’re too cozy and I need them around this time of year or maybe all year even!
