Simple Nordic X-mas Wreath

I’m super excited about this simple nordic x-mas wreath I made yesterday! It is seriously so simple, I whipped it up in like 10 minutes! What’s not to love about that, right??

I am slowly starting with my holiday decor, and this year it will be in a simple, nordic style with lots of evergreens and natural elements, as neutral as possible! So, while going for a walk the other day, I found these olive tree branches in a nearby park. Well, and I used some of them for this simple nordic x-mas wreath right away!

I think it would look amazing with pine branches as well, and I’m determined to find some! But for now, the olive tree branches are perfect too! They are very bendy which is great for making this wreath. As you can see, it’s not a round wreath, maybe more like a wall hanging…

Here you can see the easy steps it took to have it all arranged.

This is how it looks on my entrance wall right now. So far, it’s the only thing hanging here, but I’m planning on adding  some more to the wall over the next few weeks…  I will keep you posted!!

So what do you think about my super simple nordic x-mas wreath??

Katrin, this looks so amazing! It’s a simple way to add a lot of beauty to an entryway. This is something I totally have the supplies to do. I’ll have to keep an eye out the next time I go walking in the park. 🙂

Katrin you know I love this, it has olive branches! Your wreath is gorgeous the simplicity of it and the way you have artfully arranged the branches allows us to see the beautiful texture of the branches. Love it to bits!

Thanks Mary!! Yes, olive branches are everywhere here, just like in Greece and they are just beautiful, right?

This is so kreative! No olive trees in Rhode Island, but can substitute with pine branches. I like being able to shop the great outdoors for your project. Love the simple Nordic style you are planning to implement this year and can’t wait to see what else you kreate. Thank-you for this lovely post, as always.

Katrin, this is so pretty!! I like the look of the olive branches and keeping it in place with washi tape is so smart. This wreath wall hanging looks so cool! I can’t wait to see what you have planned for the wall!
