Simple Nordic Paper Bag Advent Calendar

simple nordic paper bag advent calendar kreativk.net

I just wanted to pop in real quick to show you this my simple nordic paper bag Advent Calendar. I used the one I made last year, except this time I added a pop of red using red ribbon. Find out about last year’s calendar here.  The bags were still in such great shape and I liked them a lot, so this year they got a comeback! Why not right? I did change things up a bit though. All the little filled bags are in my Ikea Raskog cart and they look so cute in it I think. The only thing else I added to it all is a string of fairy lights and that’s about it. I turned them to show numbers only, the deer print on the back is cute though too, but this year I liked the simple number style better.

Simple Nordic Paper Bag Advent Calendar

I am into a little bit of colour for Christmas this year. Still a lot of neutrals and whites of course, some black as well, and pops of red too. It makes it all really cozy and festive. So when I saw this cute ribbon I immediately thought of using it for the white bags.

So as you can see, I am using last years creation, styled differently and it totally works! I spent 1 Euro on the ribbon that’s all! You could put it on any cart or mantel, I’m sure it would look great there too! Hope you like this year’s version!

This is absolutely gorgeous Katrin and the larger bags would make it easier to find something suitable that you’d like to fit in them. It overall style is crisp and clean and elegant, I love this advent calendar. Pinning.

It would have been a shame to not use these lovely paper bags again, Katrin. Last year’s version looked great and I also like the touch of red you went for this year. Just a few more days and it’s time to open the first bag. Your girls probably can’t wait.
