Rustic~Tribal Jar Winter Deco

Today I thought I’d pop in to show you this super easy, decorative Rustic~Tribal Jar Winter Deco.

Rustic~Tribal Jar Winter Deco

Even though, here in the South of Spain, winter isn’t really winter, at least for me, I love to decorate the house winter style… I also like using natural elements, such as little rocks and such. I had collected a ton of empty jars, so some of them came in handy for this little craft.Β

On the picture below you can see what I used, to set up this winter decoration. I added white, grey and brown pom poms last minute to the jars, so they aren’t included in the picture. I thought they give the rocks a warm touch.Β

I painted the jars with white and grey markers and made a really easy feather style design. I then filled the jars with the little rocks, acorn tops and pom poms and arranged them on our small side table inside a woven tray.Β

How pretty! My kids collect “nature” so this would be a nice way to show off their collections. Much better than a shoe box. πŸ™‚

Good morning. Katrin, so simple and lovely and a great way to showcase the little finds that your girls bring home. Living at the beach, I could easily see doing this with the shells we collect. So pretty and can’t wait to see what your markers do next!!

    Happy Wednesday, Lynn

Katrin these are so adorable. And here I thought I was the only one who collected rocks. I have jars and jars of them lying around. I usually find pretty ones at the beach and bring them home. They are very pretty as a design element as you have shown in your post. And of course the markers are present and giving their best in the design. Very pretty arrangement.
