November Entrance Wall

Halloween has come and gone, and I am ready for Christmas decor , how about you?? I will be getting things ready bit by bit, and for starters, I took down the Halloween prints I had in my entrance and added the free prints I made available here on the blog last Friday. Find them here. I pretty much left things the same except added some different pillows to the entrance bench and a little DIY olive branch wreath. It´s a fresh one, so it will only last so long, but I think by the time it is all dry and ready to be munched up by our bunnies, Christmas decor will be going up anyways here. So for today, check out my November entrance wall!

As you can see, I’ve kept up my reversed canvas panels, because they’re just perfect for printables. They make such cute frames and nothing is easier than to change these out later. I think I will leave them up during the Holidays as well, maybe add fairy lights and evergreens, we’ll see.

I whipped up this little olive branch wreath in no time using thin golden wire. The branches of olive trees bend extra easy and I’m always happy when we find some on the ground in our nearby park.

The bench got a quick pillow change and that´s about it for now. This will change again soon, as I know I will not be able to wait any longer with Christmas decor, haha.

And here’s the pinnable photo which I’d love for you to pin for later!

I did not notice before how the frames could easily be changed for new seasonal printables. Such a clever idea, this looks lovely Katrin.

Your entrance looks great Katrin. And in fact it is the perfect time for that olive branch because olive harvest time is here. I am really going to miss that. The pillows are just lovely and complement the branch wreath perfectly. And now that I have a printer I can actually download your printables! Yay!

I remember you had so many olive trees on your farm in Greece Mary! Had to think of you when I took the branches home!

Simple and elegant entrance wall, love it! The olive branch wreath is adorable and the bunnies will adore it later too. I’m not sure if I thanked you for these wonderful printables on Friday…so, Thank-you!! Now, where will I find an Olive tree in Rhode Island?

I’m happy you like it Ellen and I actually just changed out the olive wreath with some pine branches and it also looks great and really like the Holidays already!

Ooooooo pretty!!! We have an olive tree growing in our garden which we trim down at least twice a year because her branches scratch the cars. I never even thought about using them to make such a gorgeous decor piece. Maybe I should trim her again, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind 😉
