8 In My Home/ Spring

Nordic Boho Spring Entrance

Happy Monday! This weekend I added some more boho accents to my simple nordic decor and I have to say I’m really enjoying the look. That’s why my entrance had to get a little bit of that as well. Here is how it looked last Spring/Summer and Fall. So today I’m showing you my nordic boho spring entrance. It is a small space, so I usually only re-decorate the wall and maybe the bench a little. We use it daily, so I try to keep it simple and clear of stuff.

Below you can find links to similar items I used to decorate my entrance. I had everything at home already and just re-used what I had in different spots before. I find that some basics like baskets, hats, pillow covers and artificial greens can be used over and over throughout the year.

I bought this cute burlap ampersand pillow cover in my friend Nikki’s Make Lemonade Shop last year and have used it everywhere in the house I think. I love it and it is holding up great!

I made this cute feather wreath last spring, find out how here.

This is so pretty! I love how you hung the basket with flowers. Definitely stealing that idea for our entryway. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous decor with us at Merry Monday this week!

Katrin it is the perfect balance between neutral and earthy. Love how you added those greens to the basket and then hung them on the wall. Everything is so casual and effortless.

That little basket was in one of our bathrooms and I think it really needed some spotlight, haha. Thanks Mary!

Your entrance space looks fresh and inviting, Katrin. Your handmade decorations are lovely and the ampersand pillow is beautiful too. And the hat … I would totally wear it.

It looks so calm and inviting at the same time Katrin. Our entrance hall is a chaotic mess of shoes and school bags and other stuff that just seems to get dumped there for no apparent reason. Aaaaiiii, I’d love to have an entrance space like yours and this is probably just the inspiration I needed to do a major cleanup and set some ground rules about dumping too.

I’m so happy you like it Michelle, but don’t think it always looks like this. That bench is filled with school bags during the week as well lol! Keeping it real, hey??
