Hi there! I just wanted to say Hi real quick and share this cute mid century style sewing basket side table with y’all! I am so happy about how this turned out and couldn’t wait to share it on the blog. So the other day at the flea market I literally stumbled over this sewing basket stand and then all my creative cables tangled up, lol, and well it ended up in my trunk. I paid €7 for it, not sure if that is a lot or not. See, these mid century style legs are what caught my eye and the wicker parts too.
We have these two loungers in our back, you know, to sunbathe and relax, and I was looking for a tiny table to put in between them. Because every time I we lay on the loungers and have a drink or snack, our bunnies get in there too and just knock over what ever gets in their way, haha. So I was planning on a side table for the spot, but most of the ones I saw were really high. Except for this sewing basket stand! Perfect height! And bunny proof!

I started by cleaning it and then removing the top and also the ribbon around it.
Then I applied my primer and after that, I started spray painting. This couldn’t have been any easier!
The power of spray paint y’all! It amazes me each and every time, how things I wouldn’t normally choose for my decor, become interesting and unique pieces I love!
Just like this little side table now… here it is sitting outside, holding a cute plant and fresh drinks! And the bunnies don’t even care!
One of them had to show up of course. I swear she was looking at me like that the whole time I was taking the photos, lol!
Do you own one of these cute sewing basket stands?? If so, are you using it for sewing or did you repurpose it into something different as well??
Thank you for visiting today, wishing you a great Thursday!
