Ikea Hack Pom Pom Bead Planter

What I have used:

pom poms

wooden beads

basket planter

hot glue

I used what I had at home, the planter was holding little faux fir trees for the Holidays, but now it was really time to give it a new look. I told you on Monday that I have a lot of succulents that need to be spaced out. I used this cute planter as a cover pot, I didn’t actually plant them inside it, although it has a plastic lining and could work as a planter just fine.

I originally planned on only using pom poms to brighten up this planter, so that’s why you don’t see the beads on this photo.

To figure out how I wanted the pom poms on the planter, I just turned it around and arranged them around it.

Next, I just glued them on using a hot glue gun.

It did look cute with just the pom poms on it, but I thought something was still missing. So I just added some of my wooden beads to the spots in between the pom poms and I think it looks way better!
