35 In Fall

Fall leaf book page banner

Happy Monday everyone and Happy September! I love this month and this time of year, but you know that already if you’ve followed along for a bit. I’m slowly getting back into the working routine, well, working outside the home routine that is. I have two work days behind me, and boy was I ready for this weekend already, lol! The kids haven’t started yet, it’s just us teachers getting ready and preparing and all and it’s lots of fun being back to work! I’m also so happy that I had time this weekend to be a little creative and to decorate, that’s why today I’m showing you my Fall leaf book page banner. I am slowly starting to decorate the house for Fall and this is one simple little craft and it looks really cute I think.

Fall leaf bookpage banner [kreativk.net]This banner is so easy, the perfect quick deco fix if you want.

I used:

~ string or twine

~ washi tape

~ old bookpages

~ scissors

~ Draw simple leaf shapes on book pages and cut them out.

~ Fold them in half just a little bit, not too much

~ Grab a string and washi tape and stick the leaves on

~ Decorate!

You are right into fall mood Katrin, and the leaf book page banner is helping you to get it but it looks still fresh! That’s a nice way to add some decor while recycling old books that nobody pays attention to them.

Wow, such a simple craft, but this turned out so pretty. The entire bench area looks so lovely. Did you doodle the fabric for the pillow? I love it. And the pumpkin looks great in white with the stenciled accents, and the gold on the pot is so cool!

I always love your decor. It looks so effortless, charming and comfortable. I would love to come spend time in your beautiful and peaceful home!

It was super simple, you know how I like those kinda crafts… The pillow is not doodled it’s the fabric and the pumpkin is one I bought long time ago in Canada on clearance and love it ever since!!! It would be lovely to have you over Nikki!!

So cute! As a book lover I find this a wonderful way to include them into the Fall decorations. Now the only problem is finding an old book I don’t mind pulling the pages to use! I love the white bench with the beautiful plant, pillow and ceramic pumpkin- very simple Fall at its best. Thank-you for this lovely idea- you are the best crafter ever. Glad you are easing into the work force(outside of home).

This is really adorable Katrin. I too love the look of the book pages. They create a pattern while also being simple at the same time. This banner creates just enough interest in your entrance to keep things simple and pretty. How do you manage to come up with so many cute and simple ideas?
