Fall Home Deco

Fall Home DecoDon’t you love peaking into peoples houses, checking out their style & deco and getting inspired by it??? Me too!!! I’m loving all the Fall Home Tours and they all do inspire me and are so special. Well, today I’m showing my Home Deco for Fall this year. Have a look around, it’s quite simple and easy, the way I like it. No big fuss, not perfect, just me!

I like to have clear spaces in the house, not too much stuff everywhere. Less is more? Well to me it is. I like to have details here and there, but that’s about it.

Starting with my tiny kitchen eat~in space. I added a chalkboard (oh yes, my must~have this fall and for a bit longer I think). The girls and I have breakfast during the week there, so I can change the chalkboard notes and there’s always a little something in that “BOO” jar. They love to check on it. The scale is antique, really antique, my grandma actually used it in her kitchen long long time ago. I inherited it, I’ve always loved it. It’s broken, the needles are missing, it moved continents with me. I guess I could get it fixed, but I just love it like it is, old and shabby.

Moving on to my entry way, I made Mini~Chalkboards and put them up on the wall…

And the living room… fall pillows & lots of pumpkins.

Katrin, I love every little corner in your home. Each and every place you look is light, bright and filled with things you have made. Your home is right up my alley, it’s clean, airy, modern and country chic all at the same time. I would love to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and chat!

I love your little “Boo”, it is so cute. and we don’t celebrate Holloween here in Greece but I’m going to have a holloween party this year just to be different. (for the kids). I also really like how you can take some branches and put them in little jars and make something beautiful out of nothing! Love your style. I think I have to paint my walls white now… 😉

Yes, ( in Spain ) here they don’t really celebrate Halloween either… we have an american naval base close by, so they do there and around it…that’s fun! I love to use what I can find around the yard for decor, easy & free! I had to laugh about painting your walls… they were freshly painted when we moved in last year, so I didn’t feel like painting all over and it kinda goes good with everything. But I do like some colour or light earthy tones as well! Next time! Thanks for visiting Mary!!! Happy Weekend to you & your family!!!
