Fall Front Porch

Happy Wednesday everyone! Yesterday it finally cooled down a bit in my neck of the woods here and until the weekend we’ll get a breather, which is nice! I got my porch ready for the new season, so here it is! Today I’m showing you my Fall front porch!

I used the two pallets that I had in the back patio during the summer, you can see how I styled them then here

Now and during the winter, we use the front porch a lot more, because it is sunny most of the day and the back rather cool, wet and humid. So I moved the pallets and we can still hang out here with a coffee and enjoy! That, if it doesn’t rain a lot, since my front porch isn’t covered…

I changed out the pillows and found pumpkins and gourds in the supermarket, as well as fall mums in a beautiful dark red and also small pine trees that will look great for winter as well.

Remember my deer sign for fall from an old table top? The “Welcome” sign you see hanging above the pallets is the second table top! I simply painted and distressed a bit and then wrote the word Welcome in my favourite font on the computer and copied it! I used permanent marker for this.

But now onto my Fall front porch!

I hope you like my Fall front porch and maybe you even got some inspiration here! I’m happy I got it done and I enjoy it when I come home after work and have a cool drink here…hopefully soon a hot one, lol!

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it!

Wow you are so creative! I love how you’ve repurposed items from your other crafts – I would never think to do this. Also love what you’ve done with the crate for the shoe rack. I never know where to pick up those crates in the UK. I love your little area x

Katrin, It’s so pretty! I love the colors and the feel. Laid back and relaxing. I would kick back and enjoy a hot or cold beverage here. The pillows are so cool, love all the greenery, the welcome sign is simple but classy, and I love the wreath.

You have such a talent for the effortless style, it’s so pretty and always easy on the eye. Love it!

Thank you Nikki! I enjoy this spot, especially when the weather gets cooler, but it’s still great though to be out here! The bunnies appear to love it as well, as I often find them lounging on the pillows, lol!

I love this idea! I had 6 pallets that I used doubled up as tables for my granddaughters’ birthday party and told my husband I’d like to make something else out of them, but he got rid of all but one. Men! Making a shoe rack is so clever, Katrin!

Oh how nice, but oh no that you only have one left! Although with one there are lots of things to do as well! The shoe rack is super easy, no power tools, I made it a while back in a different post as well, and it’s great for storage! Thanks for the visit Jas!

I love those pallets with the pillows, perfect place to stop and rest. The shoe rack is a wonderful idea, another pallet? Your cactus and succulents look so healthy and green. You have made a welcoming front porch- love the sign too. Thank-you for sharing your home. Fall can’t come soon enough.

Hi Ellen! Yes, I can’t wait for fall and for spending some cooler times there on the front porch! The shoe rack is a previous project, yes, I shared it a while back…it’s very practical, as we always take off our shoes before going inside and like this it looks more tidy. Thanks for the visit, hope you have a lovely weekend!!

Katrin that Hola sign is adorable. I love how you cut out a leaf into the top portion. The whole area looks nice and inviting. And the pallet seating is styled just right. The sign above the pallet is also very cute and gives the whole area a pulled together look. Katrin, come over and do my entrance. I sure could use some help.

Thanks Mary! That sign is from a previous project from last fall. I’ve just had it inside on my stairs for the past year but now for fall I like it outside!

Good Morning Katrin…Wish that I could come hang out on your front porch with you this fall! We could sit and a cup of copy and chat over the most recent episode of Walking Dead…counting the days!
Your style is so YOU and your porch reflects that. A very calm and serene Katrin hang out.

    Wishing you a great day.

    Hugs, Lynn

Katrin, your front porch area looks so cozy! That’s a good idea to move the pallets due to the weather changing, such a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee. I like the welcome sign!! The mums and gourds are a lovely touch of fall. I hope you and your family enjoy this beautiful setting!
