Easy Feather Spring Wreath

The other day I realized that I didn’t really make a spring wreath yet! And while this easy feather spring wreath isn’t exactly a typical one with you know… flowers and bright colours, I still think it’s cute for the season with all those feathers, don’t you agree?? And you know I like it neutral… so let me show you how I made this, cause it’s so easy!Β

Easy Feather Spring Wreath

What I’ve used:

~ wire for the body of the wreath

~ thin wire to attach the wreaths

~ twine to go on top of the wire

~ these and these feathers

~ a hot glue gun

I started by bending the thicker wire into a circle.

With my hot glue gun, I glued twine on the upper half of the wire.

Then I grabbed my feathers into little bouquets…

… and attached them with the thinner wire around the lower part of the wreath. Cover the two bent together ends of the thick wire first, so later you won’t see them underneath all the feathers. Cover only the half of the wire that doesn’t have the twine glued to it.

…until it looks like this!

What do you think, isn’t it so cute and so so easy?? Hope you like it and maybe you got inspired to make your own.

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today, I appreciate it!

You did it again Katrin. With a twist here and a loop there you’ve made something that’s just so beautiful. I must sound like a broken record each time I comment, but all the things you make are so classic and beautiful. Did I say that already? It’s gogeous

I love this! So simple and sort of minimalist, but super cute, Katrin! I’m not really in the Easter spirit yet, but looking at your blog, I really should be πŸ™‚ The weather in Germany right now is pretty grey and rainy at the moment though, sigh…

I’m looking forward to your next project!

Just the other day I was at the farm and I collected some feathers from the wayward turkey we have. Now I’ll know what to do with them. And you know I’ve got plenty of twine at home. It is a lovely wreath Katrin, unique and light as a feather! πŸ˜‰
