Easy DIY Mini Pine Wreaths

I can’t have too many pine branches in the house this season! I don’t have many in the backyard… in fact, the few ones that I had, are inside already, so whenever I’m driving by a park with a pine tree or bush, I pick some up to take them home for my decor….[my daughter thinks I’m the most embarrassing mom ever!]. So let me show you these easy diy mini pine wreaths I made with some of those branches.

Do you remember my mirror makeover?? Well, I haven’t really done anything else to it since, except for adding some christmas lights to it the other day. But it was missing something else , so I made these easy diy mini pine wreaths for it and it really has a holiday vibe and looks festive now.

They are seriously so easy to make!

I love the smell of fresh pine during the holiday season. So fresh and green. We used to get a real tree, but since we’ve been in this house we have had an artificial one. I really miss the scent of pine. I should venture by a fresh tree stand and see if they have boughs to purchase, I would love to have several of these mini wreaths! Thanks for sharing yours, now I think I may have to dive in and get some for us!

Oh I’m sure you’d love these in your home, they’re so easy and really bring in a Christmas feel and yes, the smell as well. We’ve always had fake trees and only last year bought our first ever real one and it was like a flashback to my childhood for me. My parents always had real ones and the smell is so wonderful! I almost had forgotten about it… Thanks for stopping by friend 🙂

Your wreaths look lovely on your mirror! You’ve inspired me … we have a huge cedar tree in our back yard that just might get a trimming. LOL Thanks for sharing, Cynthia p.s. Love all the white in your house. So pretty!

I remember when I use to embarrass my daughter’s by making them stand guard while I climbed in the wood dumpster. Then what was even worst was when one of their friends was with them when I went. Lol. But hey they threw away good wood.
Love your pine wreath, bet the pine fill your home with a wonderful piney aroma. I have a 6 inche pine tree that popped up in my yard that I’ve been guarding, but it will be a long time before I can get cuttings of of it.

Katrin, this is such a great way to spruce up the mirror for the holidays!! That’s funny that your daughter is embarassed. Someday she will be doing the same thing, making a house look wonderful in a clever and frugal way. The lights across the mirror are also very beautiful!

I love the smell of fresh pine, but I have to go foraging for a pine tree too. These mini pine wreaths are perfect on the mirror and the little lights make it look magical. I love your idea of the mini wreaths instead of just adding branches. I am delighted with another kreative addition to this beautiful Nordic Christmas decor! Thank-you for this lovely post, as always.

Thank you Ellen! And it is so easy to make as well! I thought of branches but then I ended up putting the lights into the jars and liked that much better! But the greenery had to be there as well 🙂 Have a lovely day!!
