Happy last day of August everyone! We’re very close to fall y’all and I can’t help, but show you my DIY deer sign for Fall today!
We got new bedside tables the other day and I threw out my old ones, well, I threw out the bottom of my old ones, but kept the table tops. They are plywood, but I planned to make signs with them. So here’s #1, my DIY deer sign for Fall. I love all things deer, especially this time of year.
The table top was painted in white already, I just freshened it up a bit and gave it a new coat of chalky finish white.
What I used for this DIY deer sign for Fall:
~ small, dry branches from the backyard
~ scrapbooking paper in fall tones and mix and matching designs
~ hot glue gun
I started by drawing a deer head silhouette on my scapbooking paper. I did this by hand, it is very easy and it doesn’t have to be perfect, just a basic shape of a deer head. You can see I had more than one attempt until I liked it and cut it out.
Then I arranged the twiggs as the antlers together with the head silhouette and glued it all on with my hot glue gun.
I wanted to add something else to the antlers, so I cut out little leaves using my mix and matching scrapbooking paper.
And this is how my DIY deer sign for fall looks like! It’s simple and the little leaves give it a fall vibe, right? I have it hanging in my entrance and will post the new entrance all decorated for fall soon here on the blog!
Have a great day, Thanks for stopping by…
