It’s December and it is feeling a lot like Christmas around here. I finally finished decorating our home and put up the tree this past weekend. It is not completely decorated, although my girls happily helped me, while hubby was lounging on the sofa. He’s not really into Christmas decor, but thankfully puts up with all of my ideas and wishes. It was such a cozy Saturday afternoon, we were together and had fun, that is what this is all about at the end, right? Well, at one point I managed to clean up and make photos of our living room which is also our family room at the same time. This is where we hang out, play board games, watch movies, have snacks, relax and have fun together. Our coziest spot in the house I would say! It also happens that today is our “Cozy Spots For Christmas” blog hop, where my very talented blogger friends and I are teaming up to give you extra inspiration for this cozy time of year. Find all of the cozy spots below, but first I want to show you our cozy Nordic Christmas living room!

Cozy Nordic Christmas Living Room
I sewed the red and white checked pillow cases quickly myself and made the white farmhouse style pillows the other day, find out more about them here.
Candles add a lot of warmth and coziness and I usually use scented ones, like pine, sandalwood or cinnamon.
My decor is, as usual, on the simple side and I try not to overload our living room, because it is a small space. I used lot’s of neutrals with pops of red and my go-to decor for the Holidays were pine branches, pine garlands, real and faux.
I hope you enjoyed peeking into my cozy Nordic Christmas living room today! Check out even more coziness below!
