beautified coasters

Happy Wednesday! I love that you’re stopping by today! I’ve got a nice little afternoon project for you! Check out my beautified coasters…

Beautified Coasters /kreativk.net

I’ve got a crush on gold and white, you know that already! I’ve had these coasters for the longest time. I’ve gotten them from IKEA and I also like them plain, I think, they are too cute. But I was in a crafty~painting mood, so I got the idea, to give these a little makeover.

This is how they’ve looked up to now:

I started off with painting them white, two of them just half of each and the other two inside, like you can see on the pic below.

Then came the fun part of just using my golden marker and adding some tribal~style touch to them…

That was fun and really easy to beautify these guys! They look quite nice on my coffee table now.

Katrin, I loved the woven texture of these coasters before you worked your magic, but I love them even more now. Your home is so clean, bright and fresh that these little decorative elements really work to give it a bit of a pop. As always I am impressed with your creative talents, these coasters went from nice to absolutely gorgeous!

I am not a big fan of gold, but I have to admit the look really pretty!! The mix with the raw fibers, the white paint and gold is a lovely mix, good job!

Pili, I haven’t liked gold or anything golden for the longest time, it has always been silver for me, but last season it changed and now I’m loving the white and golden style. Not too much of it though ;)Thanks friend 🙂

Absolutely love everything about these Katrin! Of course, we know that gold and white are a match made in heaven, but it works so well with the natural grass. And a KreativK project would not be a KreativK project without your fantastic gold pen skillls!
My favorite kind of project is when I see something that has been in my home forever and one day, just look at it in a different light and figure out a way to change it up to suit my evolving tastes. Exactly what you did!
    Well done my friend,

    Hugs, Lynn

These are just adorable. You gave them some bling! And now they are ready for spring! And I did not mean to rhyme..lol. I love how easy it is to transform something with the use of paint. And what an impact it makes here, especially the gold.
