37 In Christmas

5 minute nordic holiday centerpiece

This time of year is my favourite, although I do enjoy the other seasons a lot, but at this point I’m just ready to relax and enjoy the shorter days all cozy, inside with my family.

I got a lot of decorating done last weekend and will share my Nordic Holiday Home soon as well on the blog, but today I want to quickly show you my 5 minute Holiday Centerpiece.

It’s really super easy and quick and makes for a cozy and nordic atmosphere.

I used an old pizza pan that I roughly painted with white chalky finish paint first as the base or tray.

I then arranged previously cut pine branches on it, making it look like a wreath although I didn’t actually tie it up.

I had this candle light and candle from previous years and hot glued some white painted wood slices around the glass.

Then I put the candle light in the middle, sprinkled some bark stars around it and added the antlers to each side.

This is how it looks on my coffee table now…

5-minute-nordic-holiday-centerpiece-kreativk.net….and like this at night, with the candle on… We keep our coffee table pretty clear, so this will be the only decor on it and I love it! It smells just like Christmas!

If you like it, pin it!

What do you think about the centerpiece?? I love it, because it took me literally 5 minutes to arrange it all and goes great with all my nordic decor this year.

It first sight I though you were using an octopus plate but then as I read I saw I was wrong. You always come up with the best decorations in no time! Another great idea for this season.

I love how clean and bright your home looks, even with the holiday decorations. It’s not overwhelming and crowded, just festive, clean and calming. I may have to rethink my decor in the coming years, I am pinning all your ideas so that I can copy you! LOL That’s the only way I’ll ever get effortless chic!

Your Nordic Christmas decor is fantastic! I tried and tried to post a comment on Thanksgiving about the fabulous watercolor deer. It would not post and I wanted to tell you how perfect it looks. I’m loving your Nordic decor projects- simply elegant. I love how you use so much of what is at hand and natural elements to bring it all together in such delightful ways. I’ve been archiving these posts for future implementation. Thank-you for another delightful post, as always. P.S. I’m repeating this from my unposted comment- you are a marvelous blogger with a tremendous talent, never doubt it!!

Katrin this is gorgeous! The natural look, the pine branches. It all adds to the beauty of the composition. My favorites are the small bark stars, never seen anything like them before. Where did you get those?

    • Katrin

Thank you Mary! I bought the stars years ago, like probably 7 or 8 years ago in a store here in Spain and use them ever since…
