5 minute Fall wreath using scrapbook paper

I showed you my Fall front porch yesterday, and part of it is this easy 5 minute Fall wreath using scrapbook paper. Today I thought I show you real quick how I made it!

Who doesn’t have 5 minutes, right? I don’t have a lot of time with being back to work, but the other night, after work and after snuggles and fun time with my ladies, I still felt like doing something creative and whipped up this 5 minute Fall wreath using scrapbook paper and that was all!

I tend to buy sets of scrapbook paper just because I like the patterns and might use it for something creative, I don’t do scrapbooking. And I accumulated quite the collection over the years.

One thing I love about this rustic wreath that I got long time ago in Canada, is, that it can work each season!  It looks lighter on this photo, but I didn’t spray paint it, it’s just the lighting.

Tip: Sinced they’re thin, layer the sheets of scrapbook paper and cut out a bunch at a time!

You can see how easy peasy and really quick this wreath for fall is, hey??  Once I had cut out the leaves, using my hot glue gun,  I glued them on the side of my wreath and voila, that was all!

My front door is covered and when it rains it doesn’t get wet, so I don’t have a problem with the paper leaves getting ruined. But I’m sure this wreath would look lovely inside over a mantel or hanging on a wall as well.

I love grapevine wreaths and these scrapbook paper leaves are the perfect addition. I love a craft that is easy and beautiful too, this is definitely both. I noticed this wreath on your door and wondered if it was one of your kreations, I should have known it had to be just that! Thank-you for another lovely post, as always.

Thank you Ellen! This wreath has been used for some years already and I never get tired of it, because it just works with anything all year round! And yes, lately the quicker crafts are great for me because I just don’t find a lot of energy or time at the end of the day… but I still like to do something you know, so this is great for now!

Katrin, you did it again with another one of your cute and easy projects, love your Fall wreath! You are always coming up with super cute and easy things to make. I’m not a scrapbooker either, but I tend to buy scrapbook paper that I like for other projects. Always have some on hand if needed, they have such pretty patterns

So, how is school going? Are you in the swing of things yet? Are loving all your little people?

Your wreath is so nice and simple, but I just really love that gold paper…almost looks lacey. thanks for sharing a quick wreath for those time when you just ‘need to craft’ but don’t have a whole lot of time.

    Hugs, LYnn

Hi Lynn, school is good, busy, but good. I’m slowly getting used to working full time again. I’m so tired, lol! The wreath was a perfect little craft for after school, happy you like it! Have a lovely weekend!
