5 min. frame decor with rice paper

You know how lately I’m into all the summerly decor and especially into blue tones! Well, this one today is another fun little deco I want to show you! 5 min. frame decor with rice paper is so quick, it really only takes 5 minutes if you have a frame and pretty paper!

I have a stash of pretty paper, all kinds, wrapping paper, origami paper and this beautiful rice paper in different designs. And I’ve got frames, lots of them. I mainly use these two rustic looking white frames for my decor and exchange the art in it frequently. There’s nothing easier and it makes such a huge difference.

I just leaned the two frames into one of the crates of my crate & basket wall above my couch in the living room and I’m loving the fresh touch it adds!

In case you want to give this a try, here I found similar items you could use to make your own frame decor! Just click on the image and it’ll lead you to where you need to be to get it. Thanks!

How did you like this 5 min. craft?? Thanks for the visit, I appreciate it!

I thought rice paper was the sweet paper I used to eat as a child. These look great! The blue is gorgeous.

Well, I think that’s different rice paper, as this one is not to eat! But it’s called rice paper as well and looks pretty, but I think if I’d find edible rice paper that is pretty I might frame that too 😉

Yes, this one is a real easy little project and you’re right, it’s great for those who want to do a little DIY and change out their decor but not have a huge project in front of them! Thanks so much for the visit, as always 🙂

Katrin, you are the best! I love that rice paper, the blue is the same color as the wall running through our kitchen and dining room area. All the other areas are painted light grey, and these frames would be the perfect way to tie it all together! And it’s so fun that you can change the art out for the season or when you find a new cool paper!

I’m going on the hunt, I want to find some just like yours, or close to it anyway!

That is a beautiful blue to have around! So calming and beautiful! Yes, I can imagine how great the frames would look in your home Nikki!

Katrin I love that rice paper, it has such texture that shows thru. I thought your project looked great as it was, but when you put the frames inside the crate well that just takes it to another lever. It looks fantastic on the wall like that. Another great 5-minute project. I could use some of those!
