Winter Deco Inspiration

Now that Christmas is over, but winter really just has begun, I want to share some Winter Deco Inspiration I’ve found on the net and really like. I love looking around and just love decorating for winter! So why don’t you do that here as well?

It’s always a bit sad, when the Holidays come to an end and even though now I’m kinda ready for new deco and changing things around, the house can feel bare and naked when all that Christmas glitter and gold comes off. But it doesn’t have to be! Here are some really nice inspis on how to decorate your home for winter and make it feel warm and cozy!

A must for me during the winter months are candles and lanterns, like these ones seen [here].

These ideas are gorgeous. Who wouldn’t love a hot cocoa bar? I love those snowflakes too. I love anything with a snowflake on. Snow is the magic of January and February, otherwise it’s too depressing after Christmas isn’t it? I must admit, I’m all about rolling on spring now.

Katrin, I’m not a winter person, UG! The cold is not my thing. But these images almost had me changing my mind! LOL All of these are so “you” I can see them in your home. The clean, bright, white lines are so pretty! I have lots of light grey mixed with white, so any of these would look great in my home too. I especially love the cozy throw, all the bark and wood stumps, and the snowflakes are gorgeous! BTW, can I expect to see a tutorial on the pine-cone wreath??? It’s so up your alley, love it!!!

These are all so pretty, great winter inspirations! I think my favorite is the Rustic jars with natural elements. I love rustic decor and anything that has to do with repurposed jars.

These ae beautiful one is prettier and cozier than the next. I love the paper stars above the bed. That would be so pretty for a girl’s room. This year I am definitely going to decorate for winter and you have fully inspired me now! I just told the hubby that we have to go up to the mountains to look for natural green foliage from pine trees and such!! Thanks for the inspiration and I want to know what you are going to do in your home. Although if I remember correctly you had so many beautiful things for Christmas that easily transition into winter decor. You’re all set!

Hi Mary! Aren’t the paper stars or snowflakes so cozy? I love them and even though here there isn’t a winter like there is in Canada, I’m decorating for it, I just love the cozyness and all! I’ll show my living/dining area soon! Thanks friend!!! Let me know how your trip to the mountains went, sounds like a super nice outing!!!
